Math And Physics Club
Today I bought a new record, well to be frank I bought maybe ten or so… But one of them was Math and physics club album on Matinée and I must say that I did not have to listen to more songs than one before I made the decision to buy it (since I have very very little money I have to consider every buy once or twice, especially if it´s records that I can get a hold on later on as well…), or actually I did not even listen to the whole song since I wanted to save it for when I got back home.
Now I am sitting here listening to it and I have to admit that it might just be the record of the year! And I have not even listened to the whole thing. But I have a feeling that I will not regret those words, you have every little ingredience for a lovely autumn record. Well, listen to this:

That is the first song on it and it paints up a quite good picture of what you have to expect from the other songs. If you want more, try the second song as well

Yesterday night I thought that I did not really tell that much about the music, but when I think about it, is it not better to let you listen and let you build your own opinion about it? If somebody feels a need to know how it sounds like, you have the jangly guitars, violins, bapabaa and so on… making songs that mostly remind me of these two: Belle and Sebastian and labelmates The Lucksmith.

Aww, I wish we could come with Pipas…. but it’s so far away and we’re rather broke and Martijn doesn’t have a job yet and I have so much homework to do that I’m not even considering coming, which goes to show something. It’s such a shame they’re not playing in Exeter!
Oh well. One day they will. And one day, we will come over. Just don’t hold your breath
