Tom who writes even more frequently than Andreas of Dance to the sun, made a post about some blogs that he reads and I got mentioned there. So I thought that I would mention the indie-mp3 blog since I do not even have a link to it here… I kind of gave up on the links some time ago. But I have to say that there are only a few sites that I visit often, indie-mp3 being among the most frequently visited. So if you like to read about nice music and listen to some mp3’s and maybe read an interview, pay a visit:

Today I bought a new record, well to be frank I bought maybe ten or so… But one of them was Math and physics club album on Matinée and I must say that I did not have to listen to more songs than one before I made the decision to buy it (since I have very very little money I have to consider every buy once or twice, especially if it´s records that I can get a hold on later on as well…), or actually I did not even listen to the whole song since I wanted to save it for when I got back home.

Now I am sitting here listening to it and I have to admit that it might just be the record of the year! And I have not even listened to the whole thing. But I have a feeling that I will not regret those words, you have every little ingredience for a lovely autumn record. Well, listen to this:

Yesterday night I thought that I did not really tell that much about the music, but when I think about it, is it not better to let you listen and let you build your own opinion about it? If somebody feels a need to know how it sounds like, you have the jangly guitars, violins, bapabaa and so on… making songs that mostly remind me of these two: Belle and Sebastian and labelmates The Lucksmith.

There is this guy called Joachim and he is huge sucker for those manchester sounds. And he is also the one who introduced me to The Ruling Class. The songs that I have heard breathe a bit too much “madchester” for my taste, but every time, every with a big big capital E, I listen to the song “Umbrella folds” I feel there is magic in the air and potential for making songs that can blow me away to the moon. Oh, that makes me think of the new White Town 7″, check it out, it is definetly among the top 5 records I have bought this year, and the Agent simple cover on the b-side is just brilliant. I do not need “jetsons and golf on the moon”, not when I have this 7″, which is released by Heavenly pop hits .
